The pot has all original parts except a new tailpiece, end bolt, and neck attachment hardware. The skin head is original and sits on a 1/4" round steel hoop tone ring.
The neck was crafted from three pieces of Poplar and stained to match the pot. It has a Rosewood fret board with mop position dots. The peg head overlay and heel cap are Walnut. It has geared planetary tuners for easy tuning. String action is 3 mm above the 12th fret. Scale length is 25 1/4". Fret board is 1 3/16" wide at the nut and 1 7/8" at the end.
The neck is straight and notes true up and down the fret board with no string buzzes. The banjo weighs in at 5 1/2 lbs.
