I have a very cool old banjo for sale.I wanted to build a banjo that looked and sounded like Earl's when they did the Carnagie Hall show .The neck was made by Rob Coleman from old growth mahogany. It has a Brazilian rosewood hearts and flowers fretboard. I had Ron make it with a little wider profile than standard Gibson specs. The neck was made especially for this pot and fits perfect.First quality pancake tuners with ivoroid buttons. Rim is a 49 style 100 full thickness, three ply chocolate stained. Most of the metal parts were purchased at First Quality over the years. It also has a Sullivan 20 hole tonering in it.I have tried several tonering in this banjo and this one sounds as good as any of the rest. The reso is a reskinned prewar style 00,rebound with wbw binding .the neck also is bound in wbw .This is a great sounding and feeling banjo.Comes with two day approval and return policy, as long as returned in same condition, and not taken apart. Thanks for looking If you have any questions dont hesitate to ask.I have a couple short videos I can text if you would like to hear it.It will give you some idea of the tone.It sounds really good.Got almost 1200.00 in just the neck. Thanks for looking.
