Up for sale is a highly regarded solid body electric 5-string banjo known as the Tranjocaster! Built by Sam Farris, proprietor of Farris Travel Banjo Company located in Tennessee, the Tranjocaster is made of solid walnut. This instrument features neck and bridge pickups wired to a blend pot to combine the two signals for a range of tone. 5th strings spikes are present on the 7th, 9th and 10th frets. The TranjoCaster plays like a banjo but sounds like an electric guitar! From mellow jazz guitar to twangy country electric, the Tranjocaster avails a world of possibilities the player that wields it.
