Gibson RB-100 Banjo
Mid to late 60s Gibson RB-100 in good overall condition.
Has some finish checking and dings, etc. in the finish. Normal wear and tear for a 50+ year old instrument.
Chrome plated factory hardware (no tarnish).
Upgraded with a (Warren) Yates 3-ply maple rim and 38 Special un-plated 20-hole flathead tone ring.
Currently set-up with a pre-EPA head, Keith-copy 'D' tuners, two capo spikes, and a Snuffy Smith maple/ebony bridge.
Only real negative is an old neck repair at the volute (hand-stop). It's very smooth and rock solid!
This banjo plays and sounds great!
