Here's one of the finest "tone hoop" banjo's I've played. This '37 TB-1 pot is all original except for 1 thumbscrew and the added prewar Grover "Presto" tailpiece. The rim remains un-cut with the 1/4" brass hoop. The pot shows alot of wear but as usual that means the banjo sounds great...and this one does. Added to the pot is a 30's RB-00 original 5-string neck that looks and plays great and is surely a contributing factor for the tone and volume. It has Gotoh tuners with antique finish. The fret board has some divots from wear but functions fine. This banjo has the "cool factor" and the sound to go with it. Robin Smith has fit the neck to the pot and 5th string spikes are added.
