This historic & beautiful Cedar Mountain Banjo - Dwight Diller Model was made by Lo Gordon in 2001. Here are the specifics on this banjo.
Renaissance Head, Serial Number 96, Rosewood block rim Construction
Very good to Excellent. Minor playwear & a few tiny dings, dents, scratches, etc. The only issue of note is there is an old small crack in the pearl chicken that doesn't even show up in close up pictures. My luthier tells me it is solid and a repair would show more than leaving it alone.
Set up with Pisgah Strings medium gauge strings and a Gold Tone Zero Glide Nut – plays like a short scale banjo. Spike at 7th fret 5th string.
Scale length measures 26 1/8 inches. Nut width measures 1 25/64 inches.
Frets and net set are in excellent condition.
Brown Superior HSC Case in mint/Excellent condition
The only reason I am selling is because I prefer the darker sound of a 12 Inch pot.
