I am thinning out my very large collection of stringed instruments (numbering nearly 200), which I began in the 1970's. This listing is for a mint 2015 Brooks Masten Cherry Spartan 5-String Banjo (#288). This is an 11" 16 shoe Spartan model. It has a cherry rim and a cherry neck. The tone ring is 1/4" rolled brass. The tailpiece is a raw brass no knot.
Like all of my instruments, it has been pampered and wiped down each of the 4-5 times it has been out of the case.
