Most likely built by the Stromberg-Voisinet company in the late 20s. Strombery-Voisinet eventually became the Kay instrument company. The parts bear the aesthetic that has made them so desirable among lovers that retro-modern look.
The maple rim is 10 7/8 diameter, 2 5/8 inches deep and is 1/2 inch thick. Nice walnut veneer on the bottom edge and inlaid with 5/32 inch black & white checker binding
The brass, nickel plated tone ring 10 7/8" in diameter by 1/8" thick and 1/2 deep.
The matching walnut resonator is 13 1/2 inch in diameter and accepts 13 inch flange. It is
1 1/2 inches deep. It has the black and white checker binding like the rim. The walnut has a nice figure and both the rim and resonator have the original finish. The resonator has the 2 mounting lugs with original thumbscrews.
