These "re-issue" Gibson's are getting harder to find in their original configuration. This 96' RB-3 is all original with a factory Gibson "Crowe" 20-hole flathead tone ring. These tone rings were Chosen by J.D. Crowe for the RB-75 bearing his name. These rings made it in to several different model banjos at Gibson during this time. Normally it would have been a Kulesh. I personally consider this a big upgrade. This banjo is very clean with some finish checking on the peghead and very minor patina on some of the nickel. 5th string spikes are at 7th thru 10th frets. Ships in "The Gibson" case. The fret wear is minimal and the action is great. Don't hesitate to ask questions or request more pictures. As far as trading goes, I'm open...but prefer a "professional grade" banjo...
