Beautiful cherry rim and ebony fretboard, rim cap, center strip, and peghead overlay, with a "Little Wonder" style tone ring, and Gotoh tuners. Cherry sprig inlay on the headstock with tasteful diamond and star fretboard inlays and marquetry strip decorating the rim.
This banjo has a deep tone ideal for contemporary clawhammer style playing but with extra volume and clarity to cut through in a jam thanks to the Little Wonder style tone ring.
These retail for 2K plus tax new, and this one is in pretty much as-new condition. Includes a K&K pickup which was installed non-invasively (no alterations or holes drilled).
If you don't want the pickup, I can remove it and take $80 off the price. Enquire if you are interested in a hard case.
I hate to part with it but I have three 12" openbacks now, and I've got to thin the herd.
