Scruggs '49 Classic replica neck by Don Bryant. This is a one piece, highly figured, presentation grade curly maple with Granada sunburst finish. The bow tie inlays were hand cut by Clifford Seals. The neck blank was wide enough so that there are no ears glued on to the peg head, giving the peg head that appearance of the pre war Granada veneered back. The peg head thickness, the overlay thickness are pre war spec; ebony heel cap; the heel is cut for a 0.656" bridge. The binding has been tinted to give it an "aged" look; pre war profile, and fret scale; spikes are installed at 7, 8, 9. The truss rod cover is a standard black cover, and will also include a new engraved "Earl Scruggs" truss rod cover. The tuners are not included with the sale of the neck.
