These tuners came in on a super nice condition TB00 …….F1159-19.
Circa 1940 - 1942 per the number on back of headstock
I often hear these referred to as the “frying pan Klusons” and they came on the late 1930s to early 1940s Gibson banjos.......they do favor the bottom of a frying pan!....
I have seen them on style 00s, style 11s and mastertone style 3s and 75s.
You rarely see these in this good of original condition and usually the prewar amber catalin buttons are cracked or badly decomposed.
If anyone is looking for a good working set of these with all mounting screws and grommets, to replace the original ones on their old flat-head or RB11 or restore a Gibson that had these on it originally then here is your chance if you have a need.
