This is a Lo Gordon of Cedar Mountain Banjo Dwight Diller #64 (1999-2000 Chicken Head) D2 scarce Model banjo and a extremely clean example. Has a maple neck, 19 fret ebony fretboard with pearl dot inlays, 11" maple rim with rosewood tone ring and maple rim cap, 26 1/4" scale length, 1 13/32" nut width, 5 geared tuners with 4 Waverly double rings and ivroid buttons, no knot tailpiece, and inlaid pearl chicken on headstock. It's in nice cosmetic condition showing just light scattered handling /setup marks. The brackets / shoes are in very good condition also showing just a little dulling here and there which could be buffed out if desired. The bridge on it now is a solid hand fashioned rosewood I believe I took from a Doc Huff banjo I had because of the warm tone it produced with the matching rosewood tone ring. The neck is perfectly straight with nice low action which maybe a little too low for frailing and the frets show little to no wear. Originally purchased from Elderly Instruments at $1825 with hang tags still in the marooned lined case. Hasn't been played much so would suggest a new tune up should be in order. $1325 plus shipping est. $75 to lower 48 only....thanks
