This is a great KK-10 conversion. These banjos were made by Gibson in the early 30's for specific retailers. Here's more info regarding these banjos from Greg Earnest's site earnestbanjo.com/kel_kroydon_b...ibson.htm This pot has all the original hardware with added dual co-rods and a Prucha "Presto" tail piece. The tone ring is a Curtis McPeake 20-hole nickel plated flathead. The mahogany neck was made by Frank Neat and has the speed-neck finish. The fret board is ebony with flying eagle inlay. 5th string spikes are installed. Waverly 2-band tuners are in place and holes remain in the back of the peg-head from previous tuners. This banjo is set up with a Remo head and McPeake bridge. The resonator has heavy finish checking but has been sealed. It ships in a new Guardian Deluxe case. If you have questions, don't hesitate to ask.
