This TB-2 features its original finish and hardware (with the exception of one replacement prewar resonator thumb screw and a replacement punched prewar Presto tailpiece). The walnut five-string "speed" neck by Frank and Ricky Neat features a dark Brazilian rosewood fingerboard with the flying eagle inlay pattern and the "diamonds and squares" pattern in a double-cut peghead as seen as some style 75 banjos. The tone ring is a Huber HR-30. There is one ding on the front of the peghead. The tenor neck comes with the banjo and retains its Grover "pancake" tuners with one replaced button. The five-string neck is equipped with Waverly two-band tuners. This great-sounding style 2 conversion comes in a 1990s-2000s "The Gibson" case which is missing its internal shroud (a.k.a. "pine-straw collector"). Please visit earnestbanjo.com/wp/gibson-tb-2-20-6/ for full photos and information, and youtube.com/watch?v=3N6FXTjXsxs for a video of this banjo in action.
