1929 Gibson two piece flange archtop 5 string conversion banjo. Great sounding, with recent conversion. Beautiful Curley Maple neck and setup by Chris Warner. The neck is slightly wider than Gibson’s specs by 1/16” at nut to span 1-1/4”. Original two piece flange, arm rest and Grover pancake tuners/buttons. Five star 5th geared tuner and newer button. Grover patent tail piece not original but correct and punched. Tension hoop original, Newer hooks and nuts replaced a some time. Reno head, Huber bridge, Three of Thumb screws are original and one from later years. Resonator binding repaired near tail piece. The Resonator was oversprayed years ago and has ser no. marked correct, along inside edge of pot. Inside of pot lightly oversprayed. Very nice banjo. Please look over photos and ask questions. Original tenor neck included and was also refinished at some point. Comes with hard shell case. Strap is NOT included. Thanks for looking.
