Yates Shelby model, from 2009. Very high grade curly maple in the neck and resonator. No-hole Yates flathead tone ring, which in my
opinion is a game changer, if you are looking for volume, tone, note clarity and balance. Yates has certainly become my banjo of choice,
since they appeared on the market.
I have had all models, Ron Stewart, Shelby, Grand, RB75, both mahogany and maple, 20-hole and no-hole.
The consistency in all aspects of workmanship, tone, volume and playability is outstanding.
The banjo comes in the original redline, archtop case, with the original Yates bridge and Remo head. It will come to you with the head
drum dialed to 90, as Warren Yates recommends and with a new set of GHS strings.
This is your opportunity to upgrade to a Yates banjo, at a reasonable price. Sorry, can't take trades at this price.
