Extra clean 1921 Vega 11" (10 15/16ths) "Whyte Laydie" banjo pot. S# 41880. The 28 hooks and nuts are real nice, overall the plating is in super shape on this 1920's era banjo, the hooks are the original equipment and the original closed end nuts have real good threads. New hide head with natural finish is ready for lots of tunes and was custom stretched on this this banjo pot for a perfect fit. Original prewar armrest is included and was the top of the line back in the 1921 and is fully adjustable. This is one of the cleanest Whyte Laydie banjo pots I have come across in a long time! There are 2 small pin holes at the neck notch and 2 corresponding grooves on the bottom of the rim (see pictures, someone must have mounted a neck in a custom way). The square hole at the back of the rim (tailpiece area) where the small end of the dowel stick goes has been widened (see pictures). See a lot more pictures banjoonthebrain.com/WLpot.html
