These are getting to be pretty rare. An uncut RB-1 from 1994. These banjos originally had a steel 1/4 hoop that was painted a "bronze" color from the Gibson factory. This RB-1 now has the "real deal" 1/4 brass hoop from a Gibson Prewar. The pot is all original hardware including the Gibson USA flange. The serial number 1-9404-03 puts it being completed in April of 1994. There are normal "nicks" here and there and the hardware has the patina associated with a banjo of this age. The patina could easily be cleaned away but I prefer to leave that to the new owner. The resonator has finish checking and the fret wear is minimal. 5th string spikes at 7th and 9th frets. It ships in a black hard case.

ALSO if one would desire the banjo to be "cut" and a flat head ring installed, That can be discussed...
