Custom Banjo made by Chris Warner in 1982 at Warner String Works, Hanover, PA. The date (Nov 12, 1982) and the initials (CRW) were inscribed by Chris Warner, a nationally renowned bluegrass banjo player who spared no expense or artistry on this project, hand carving the neck from a block of premium curly maple and using only the finest parts from First Quality Music in Louisville, KY. To ensure the best sound and play, Chris was kind enough to dial in just the right set-up in May of 2018. In his hands it had all of the pop, volume, note separation, clear highs and strong bass of a prewar Granada. This is an exceptional banjo, meticulously hand-built by one of the best in the business. Perfect intonation, fast play, excellent condition. Please feel free to ask any questions.
