This is a 1920's Weymann model 25 modified and refinished. I added a 3/8" brass hoop tone ring to the laminated maple pot. The original finish was stripped and was refinished with Tru Oil. All the hardware is original and was polished by hand, it shows a little wear and pitting, but overall is in great condition. New frets were also installed, new planetary tuners, new tailpiece, and new bridge. The head is an older Remo top frosted white. The banjo is setup ready to play with new Clareen nickel strings (12, 17w, 26w, 36w). The scale length is 22 7/8" and the action is just under 1/8" at the 12ft fret. This banjo sale does not include a case. It will be shipped securely packaged and insured to US addresses only.
