For sale, this fine old Gibson 1932 TB-1 converted banjo to a five string. Installed with a Frank Neat neck with hearts and flowers inlay and a rose wood finger board. Comes with Bill Keith D tuners installed. Has a Paul Hopkins polished brass tone ring from Mr. Curtis McPeake. Wood rim was sent out to Mr. Bill Sullivan at First Quality. Pot assembly is original prewar except the tail piece. Comes with a hard shell carrying case. Metal parts are all original with light flaking on the flange and arm rest. Now tell me, That's not expected for a 98 year old banjo! My playing has slowed down a lot as I'm getting much older. In the recording the banjo sounds a little soft. That's because the recording machine is not the best in quality. Also I'm not interested in deals or trades so please Don't ask. TKS........
