Up for sale I have a 1970s Kasuga Banjo. Kasuga banjos are Japanese made, mid-level banjos that are actually decent banjos for the money. In the 1970s, Kasuga made banjos that sold under many different brand names - Aria, Epiphone, Alvarez ,Lida, etc.

This banjo has the following:

Neck: Mahogany 5 string
Resonator: Rosewood
Fingerboard: Rosewood
Inlay: MOP Bowtie Style
Rim: Multiply
Flange: Cast One-Piece Flange
Tone Ring: 20 Hole Flathead
Tailpiece: Gold Star Presto
Bridge: Vintage Grover
Tuners: Friction

Condition: I would say this banjo is in very good to excellent condition for its age. There are a few small bumps and bruises, but there have been no cracks or repairs. The original friction tuners hold tune very well, and everything is structurally solid!

This banjo plays and sounds pretty good. This would make an excellent banjo for a beginner/intermediate looking for a one-piece flange, tone ring, "Masterclone" banjo at a low price point. I bought this banjo as a travel banjo, but recently upgraded. Typically, I see these banjos priced from $300 - $500. I have priced mine at the lower end of the spectrum to move it quickly -- so, I don't expect this to last long $300 +$75 shipping. This banjo comes with the original hardshell case... the case is serviceable, but not the best (but again... for the money, you can't beat it)
