Here's a rare bird for sure. This is a "double label" from the famous original lot of 80 banjos from the first year of production, 1981. This one is #71 and in excellent condition. The fret wear is minimal and the tone and volume of this banjo is tremendous. The gold plating is partially worn on the armrest as can be seen in the pictures. The banjo has 5th string spikes installed and ships in a black TKL case. These banjos are very well know and are getting harder to find especially in this condition. This would be a great "collector" or "player" banjo....
