1950's Gibson RB100 Conversion. With all the original 1950's Nickel Plated Hardware & Resonator we built a very good Gibson Banjo around the parts. All the Nickel Hardware has a little dull patina to it from 60+ years of being used. The Tailpiece is an original 1930's Presto Pat Pend piece. The Resonator Side Walls were cut down and the 1950's resonator was Presentation Maple Re-Skinned with double binding added by Jimmy Cox. The Original 1950's 11ply Rim was upgraded to a Jimmy Cox 3ply Maple Rim with a Dannick 20 Hole Flathead Tone Ring. The Presentation Maple Neck with a Rosewood Fingerboard, Double Cut Peghead & FE Inlay was made by Bill Hayes. Bill Keith D Tuners are included. RR Spikes on 7 & 9.
The banjo is in good shape with no Buckle Rash or drop marks. The banjo will be shipped in a Hardshell Case.
