Rock banjos were hand built by master craftsman Bob Rock from Bedford County, Pennsylvania. He has banjos all over the world and are well made. Bob has since past away. He is listed in the Library of Congress as one of western Pa.'s finest craftsman. Born in 1907 and from Bedford, PA, Bob built between 700 and 800 banjos. His banjos were built from wood cut from his property and would make some of the metal parts on the banjo. Most of his banjos were archtops. The RB-3 is a 5 String Resonator and has beautiful inlay work. Tight woodwork, excellent woods and beautiful finish, these collectable instruments are a rare find. This instrument was purchased new and had only one owner, purchased 15 years ago. Very well taken care of. Location is near Pittsburgh, PA. Asking $2,400.00, obo Made November 10, 1979.
