Here is a RARE circa 1890s H.F. Strebe NY 5 string banjo. Has all the original hardware, shoes, hooks, nuts. The shoes are quite unique, as the threaded section is cast on the back of the shoe. Action is set up just like it was originally, with neck/body exactly flat with a 1/2 bridge. Nice bright poppy TONE! I'll post a tone sample via youtube, if you check back. Has beautifully figured Brazilian rosewood pot veneer and headstock overlay. 25-5/8" Scale, 11" Calfskin Head.
