If you enjoy playing tunes involving D-tuners, you will love the MDT; it's always ready! Ready to use for an impromptu "Flint Hill Special" ... or just a little improvisation tossed over a "D" chord ... or just because you feel like it ... or whatever ... it's ready. And most folks won't even know you have a D-tuner on board because the tuner "footprint" from the front of the peghead is so small. The notes are extremely accurate and the tuner "feel" is the same on both strings because the button "throw" is roughly the same for both. By the way, if you have to retune your banjo under hot stage lights, no problem ... just tune your banjo as usual ... the MDT will be right there with you ... in tune ... no MDT adjustments needed. Also, no holes or screws needed ... the MDT is mounted with 3M VHB tape. Note: starting in 2022, MDTs come standard with white pearloid buttons (see photos).
