1970's Fender Artist made in Fullerton, CA. SN/ 04466. Very good condition. Beautiful walnut resonator; flange has slight pulling near the heel as is typical of these California Fender banjos; Kerschner tail piece; original 5th string tuner; 1st thru 4th string tuners are nickel plated 2- band Waverly; spikes at 7, 8, 9; Red Maple 5/8" standard spaced bridge; Remo Wagon Wheel head- made in the USA; a few light scratches on the back of the resonator but not through the finish; there is a small dent near the 4th string side of the neck near the 10th fret; the finish and plating is in remarkably good condition for a 40+ year old banjo; barely visible fret wear on the first 4 frets; HSC. Banjo has been completely tore down; inspected; cleaned; and set up. It has great walnut tone, typical of these wonderfully made California Fenders.
