1968 Gibson RB-250 flathead, full thickness rim, bow-tie inlays, flyswatter peg head, a great bluegrass sound as most of these 1960s, full thickness rim, flathead RB-250s are. Very loud and great sound. Presto type tailpiece. Tone ring had .025" of play on rim and produced great sound. I made an .025" veneer strip to tighten the ring up to zero and it didn't change the tone one bit, i.e. still very loud and very good. Very fine headstock crack glued tight...no problem other than minor cosmetic...nothing a good finish person couldn't make disappear. It's never bothered me. The crack is in the area whic is black lacquered so it would be fairly easy to make it go away. Three small sliding capo holes in neck binding. Resonator very clean. Good hardshell case. Original stair-step tuners. The resonator looks like it has some damage in one of the photos. Those apparent blemishes wiped off with a rag. The resonator is very good condition with only slight weather checking. There is no belt buckle rash, dings or dents.
