Circa 1920's Vega A Style Flat back Mandolin. Beautiful tight grained spruce bent top. Extended ebony fingerboard. Waverly Cloud tailpiece. It has one repaired crack. It has one 3" crack on the back that needs repair. The headstock faceplate is Brazilian Rosewood. Tuners are high quality gold replacements. This mandolin sounds amazing. There is some felt under the tailpiece to deaden overtones. Pick wear on either side of the sound hole, see photos. Neck appears to be mahogany. VERY LOUD for its size. . I am selling many instruments at below market value to fund a presentation banjo. Please call me at (520) 509-4759 thank you, Trevor.
