Here's a quite powerful style 1 conversion. The pot is all original except the Presto tailpiece and unplated 20-hole flathead tone ring by Jerry Sloan. The flange has moderate "pull" and the rim is a "fatboy". The neck is maple with "speed neck" finish and Keith D-Tuners and Keith standard tuners included. Fret wear is very light and 5th string spikes at 7-10. This banjo has a new Remo head and ships in a black w/green interior hard shell case. This is a great opportunity to own a Gibson prewar conversion
This banjo was originally purchased from Jim Mills in 2006 by Justin Jenkins. It was later "speed necked" and the ring changed to a Sloan. Justin used this banjo on several recordings with the bands: Blue Moon Rising, Grasstowne, & American Drive.
