This 1932 TB-1 has an old, crude repair to the tension hoop. . . I have the old "big crown" Remo up to 90 on a Drum Dial and the hoop is still intact, but obviously I can make no guarantees about how it will continue to hold up. The repair is on the first-string side and causes one hook to sit somewhat croooked. The banjo also has some separation of the resonator sidewalls, missing neck binding on the first-string side from frets thirteen to nineteen, and a notch cut out of the inner wall of the resonator, most likely to accommodate an electric pickup at some time in the past. The tailpiece is a chrome Ibanez clamshell whose cover has broken off. All hardware aside from the tension hoop is in good condition, with no more than typical pulling up of the flange and an especially nice armrest. All finish is original. Please see earnestbanjo.com/gibson_banjo_...52-19.htm for more photos. Sorry, no trades on this one.
