The Helix rim is the only radical departure rim like this. It is an 8-piece octagon block rim, same pieces from top to bottom, no tiers, a big pinion gear. The Helix has a unique sound that is loud and full and lightweight. Less weight, more music, no hype.
Ship me a set of hardware, or your banjo, I return your rim, your other hardware is installed per customer specs on a new Helix rim of: Maple, Cherry, Mahogany. Premium for vintage wood such as Black Walnut.
