For sale is a vintage mahogany Iida banjo with hard shell case and lots of upgrades. The pot assembly has been upgraded to five-star Stewart McDonold that consist of : three ply maple rim, nickel platted tube & plate flange, stretcher band, hooks & nuts and 20 hole flat head tone ring. Banjo has very good tone and volume and set up with good action. The resonator has been refinished (as pictured because the finish went milky looking.) The neck had a slight crack repair (top outer edge of hand stop on back of neck as pictured) notice the crack is only on the outside and not tword the fingerboard(repair is solid). Also comes with a Sosebee bridge and is set up & ready to play. This should make someone a fine banjo at a affordable price.
