I would like to trade this resonator, flange, and attaching brackets from a 1927 tb 1. For a good used 5string style 1 conversion neck. All parts are original prewar except for the thumb screws they were missing so I found some thumb screws from a hardware store that fit and work fine. The only major issue is that for some reason someone removed the original finish from the resonator and the tenor neck that was on this banjo. My plan is to trade these parts for a 5string neck to put on the rim so I can have an open back rb1 similiar to what Uncle Dave Macon played. I recently converted another tb1 I own to five string and I absolutly love it! So I thought It would be cool to have one set up as an openback and one with resonator.
