Vega Little Wonder Conversion
The pot is 11 13/16’ which gives the instrument a strident voice. The matching serial numbers on pot and dowel date the pot as 1925. The hooks and nuts are original to the instrument and show minimal signs of corrosion. The rest of the bright work is in good shape as is the wood.
The neck, with its block and dot inlays, is from the 1960s, 27” scale, and the shape of the headstock is unique. The head appears to be a Rogers XXX. It has a 5/8” bridge, an Elton tailpiece.and Stewart Mc Donald 5 star 4:1 geared Planetary tuners. The neck is neither twisted or bowed and the frets show very little wear. The action is a little less than 1/8” @the 12th fret. A soft case is included in the sale. There are also Two different style resonators available at an additional cost If you need more information, photos of specific areas of the instrument a reasonable offer, contact me and I will try to answer any questions and perhaps set up Skype contact so that you can see and hear the banjo.
