This is a beautiful neck that was made for a 12 in. Yosco pot for Ray Alden. I had a 6 string made for the pot so the neck remains. Beautiful inlays including a double griffin on the peg head.
Should make a great neck on a 12 in. pot yielding a scale length of around 25 1/2 in. No frets after 17. 3 piece curly maple neck with ebony back strap. Geared pegs with ivroid buttons.
Original dowel stick. Probably has a bar rather than an adjustable truss rod. Straight neck. 3 layers of veneer under the finger board. The maker is unkown but it may have been made for Ray by James DeCava who did a number of custom necks
for him.
