A few years ago, I was selected to appear on a 'Dream Come True' TV show here in Ireland. My dream was to pick banjos with Earl Scruggs. Arrangements were in hand, but at the last minute the filming was unable to take place due to Earl's busy schedule.
By way of consolation, Gary Scruggs arranged for a set of the 'Flatt and Scruggs TV Shows' DVDs to be sent to me, signed by Earl himself.
Due to a change in my circumstances, I am reluctantly putting them up for sale.
The set consists of four DVDs, featuring the TV shows from 1956 to1962. Volume 1 is signed 'To Tony, Earl Scruggs'. There is also a covering note from Gary.
I'm listing them here as I feel the set would appeal to Bluegrass banjo fans, particularly as they are from Earl Scruggs' own 'stock' rather than shop-bought.
The DVDs and covers are in as new condition.
