It is with heavy heart I am putting up for sale this fantastic banjo. When I bought it I thought I'd be able to stand the pain in my hands but it became too painful to enjoy playing.
I've had this banjo for 6 years, I bought it from an other BHO member. It was first shipped to Geoff Stelling to do a check up, it was in perfect condition, and still is now. It's been treated like a baby, always been held in the case between practicing and playing. I've played jam sessions, it never needs retuning, unless of course you use a capo, but I never did that. It has the spikes professionally installed on 7,8,9 and 10. If there is ANY fret wear at all, it is invisible to me. I do have one or 2 capo's somewhere, if someone buys this banjo I'd be happy to try to find them, and I have several other 'Martin' sets of strings, hidden at the same place where the capo(s) is/are.
On the picture of the resonator it seems as if there is a scuff mark on one side. It is not. It is a reflection that showed up in the photo, the back is perfect (it has been played so teeny tiny thin lines show but NO scuff mark!
It comes in the original case, and it has an extra full set of Stelling's strings. A tuner is included, it's a clip-on, one with a swiffel head, and the leather cradle type strap comes with it also.
If you need more pictures I'd be happy to make more and either add them to this listing or send them to you, just let me know. You can email me directly at mdenney at together.net, don't pay any attention to the smap filter message, I take care of it myself.
