These don’t come up for sale very often, especially in this good of original condition!
Came to me mounted on a straight heel cut pot and the lower section of heel had been modified to fit the pot it was on.
I selected a matching piece of old grain oriented mahogany and carefully hide glued it back to heel end to bring it back to 1 pc heel spec and professionally shaped it to fit and finish and except for seeing the different color on end of added wood you would never know it was ever added.
Serial number on back of peghead is 972428. This looks to be a late 1960’s per Banjo Philes sitel
This neck has the original wide frets with little to no divots, has never been played much.
Neck is straight and in excellent playing condition.
I pulled the sliding capo off of neck first thing as I hate those things.
Has original Kluson tuners that came on neck.
If someone wanted to pick up a bowtie mastertone tenor and slap this neck on it you would have a cool banjo.
There have never been any peghead D tuners ever installed on this one……thank goodness!
This neck is not clubby as many I have owned and had in my shop of this period.
As with anything I sell….I give a 3 day satisfaction guarantee, if not completely satisfied just send back to me in like condition and I will refund total purchase price minus shipping.
