I am offering a Kamaka HF1 for sale. This is an awesome little ukulele, and I don't really want to sell it. But, My wife is having twins... so, I have to sell some stuff to offset the cost.
This particular Kamaka is exceptionally pretty with lots of flamed Koa and cool sap-woods on the front and back. This grade of koa is becoming increasingly rare, and now Kamaka reserves this level of figuring for their deluxe models. Sapwood figuring is a custom option now as well.
Kamaka is the oldest and most respected ukulele builder in Hawaii. For those of you how play, you know this is a good uke. For those of you who want to learn more... Google them is see for yourself. Then... use Google to see if you can find a figured koa Kamaka with this kind of sap-wood. I feel confident that you will not be able to - because that's why I bought it in the first place.
As you can see from the pictures, this ukulele is mint. It sounds great, and its a joy to play. There is no fret wear (as is common with most nylon stringed instruments). Very cool ukulele at a great price.
