Circa 1890's Buckbee (? unmarked) Banjorine restoration project. 13" thin spun over rim, 19.5" scale 18 fret neck. Original (or at least old) skin head intact with no tears, all rim hardware appears to be original and complete except one closed end nut that doesn't match. There are 20 hooks and nuts, all pretty clean and untarnished give or take a few. The pot is clean, slightly out of round by maybe 1/8" but measuring between 12 3/4" and 12 7/8" consistently across the head between each pair of facing hooks. The V shaped neck doesn't appear to have any cracks but the finish is rough, the fingerboard is lifting and uneven, and one of the small position dots is missing. The headstock overlay is chipped. There are no tuners. The brass 5 string tailpiece is old and may be original though the nut doesn't match. There's no case but I'll pack it well for shipment. This could be a fun summer project to fix up and enjoy, probably it will need a neck reset, the fingerboard reglued, overlay replaced and some finish work to the neck.
