For sale - Yates Ron Stewart Model Flat head Mahogany 5 string with original Yates logo case. This banjo is a fine example of the old is new look that these banjos are known for. The label has a 2010 date and it plays and sounds great. I have a slightly shorter vintage bridge on it now and the original Yates Ron Stewart bridge will come with it as well as the strap shown in the pictures. Given the distressed finish styling, it is hard to say if it is any different from the condition it left the shop in three years ago. The tuners are Keith tuning pegs and are perhaps the best machines you can get. I have had a nice set up by everyone's favorite Gibson conversion specialist in New England that included a new bridge and the price reflects the work and new part. Very little fret wear to speak of, but from the wear on the head it is obvious this has been played a bunch. I will ship via expedited service of buyers choice (UPS 2nd day air or equivalent at buyers expense, if return is asked for, it should travel back the same way) . Hundreds less than most are asking and the lowest here on the classifieds.
