Stelling Bellflower, archtop tone ring, walnut neck and resonator. Made in California, 1983. Banjo appears in all original condition, including the head and possibly the original bridge. The original green-lined case is in very good condition.
The only wear is shown in the pictures: the armrest; discoloration on two areas of the resonator from sitting in a stand; minor chips in the laquer on the back of the neck and on the back of the peghead. The chips are not into the wood, only the finish. The metal parts show the normal hazing that occurs over 29 years. The frets are in good condition, with the only issue a slight lifting of the fret ends on the first string side around frets 5, 6 and 7.
The volume is what one would expect from Stelling with extra brilliance of an archtop tone ring. The original case key, Stelling manual and warranty card, indicating that this was origially ordered as an archtop, is included. The strap is not included.
