Hi All,
I'm adding a new Spillway Dam Clawhammer Banjo Bridge to the selection of Spillway Bridges I make.
A customer wanted me to make him a Bridge with the 5th string raised up about an 1/8 of an inch, so the strings would be more even across, near the neck, to make hitting the 5th string easier.
It seemed odd to me, untill I made one up, and put it on my regular 5 string bluegrass banjo to test the sound, and seen how flat the strings were near the area where the neck, and pot meet.
I was also surprised that it wasn't that hard to play regular 3 finger bluegrass style, up near the bridge.
You old Clawhammer Style players probally know all about this style bridge, but it was a new one on me.
I make all my bridges to the customers specifications, so please send me the height of the bridge you want, and string spacing you prefer, Regular 42mm, or Crowe spacing 44mm, in a note with your Paypal payment, and I will get you one made up, and out to you.
I'll ship to the Lower 48 States for a Flat Rate of $3.50, and Worldwide for a Flat Rate of $4.00.
I accept Paypal, or if you need to use another from of payment, contact me, and we'll see if we can work something out.
Thanks for looking, and
HAPPY PICKIN'
