Here is a beautiful, all hand-crafted, high quality, turned for a 1 piece flange Block Walnut rim, and an awesome Coyote Wood (Bolivian Granadillo) 11" removable "woody/brass" tone ring. This set is for the individual who is seeking a new sound of the exotic "woody" tone ring, and yet has not given up a taste for traditional brass!
The (Tony Pass style) Block Walnut rim is precision hand-turned to accept a standard 1 piece Gibson style flange, with all holes drilled at 35MM centered; sized for Stew-Mac rim rods and neck bolts. The rim is slightly under 2 1/8" tall with a "gentle-round" base and measures 11/16" wall thickness and is complete, ready for your hardware.
The Coyote (Bolivian Granadillo) Wood tone ring is a super-hard tap tone, exotic hardwood, however the ring has been turned to integrate a fine polished rolled-brass, 3/16 in thick tone ring! The "woody-brass" tone ring is compatible with a rim that has a standard Dannick, Huber brass tone ring and has a remarkable sound, with middle frequencies greatly enhanced, while retaining a bite of brass. This set will take 2 1/2 pounds off your banjo without sacrifing any drive or clarity. (Banjo pots of these kinds of wood and design go for over $250, plus all holes are drilled and it is finished beautifully.
Both pieces are precisely "slip-fit" matched and are completely finished with Birchwood/Casey famous gunstock "Tru-Oil" for a natural look. We are selling this to lower U.S. States customers only. Price: $165 and $8.00 shipping U.S. ONLY Thanks for looking!
