This is a new banjo that I received from The Music Link at the beginning of May 2010. I haven't shown it for sale locally yet, which is probably why I still have it. I've set the banjo up (head tension, bridge tilt back towards the tailpiece to keep it more stable, etc.) and also installed spikes at frets 7,8,9, and 10. The banjo is crisp, clear, loud, and has nice sustain even at the 22nd fret on the first string. It is a fine banjo, and is easily capable of being used for professional use.
One minor problem (that is covered by the warranty): there are 2 cosmetic blemishes inside the resonator (one small crack in the inner ply of the sidewall and one in the inner lamination that faces the banjo head, both which were glued by me to prevent any further problem). They are not visible unless one takes the resonator off (duh!!). If the purchaser requests it, the Music Link says that it will send a new resonator as a replacement for this one, though there are none available now in stock.

I can probably put up a soundclip of the banjo as soon as I get my computer recording setup functioning again (I need some cables to install a new hard drive). I'd rather sell locally, but would ship the banjo if the interest was there. I would also accept a return of the banjo if the buyer decided to do so within 3 days of receiving it, but the shipping charges and any fees incurred would not be refunded.
