A lightly used RK RB-012 California Openback. Comes with the orignal Remo fiberskyn head. Nice easy action, slender neck and excellent intonation up the neck. This was among the first made when they came out and is made in Korea not China. SR# DWK 060002.
Rosewood fingerboard, walnut neck, peghead and rim, brass tone ring, spikes at 7th and 9th frets.
Not quite as bright as my Deering Vega, not as thumpy as some older openbacks. I would describe the sound as rather sweet with this head.
I can't find a nick or scratch on it and the metal parts are free of any corrosion. I am the original owner and it has been stored indoors and lightly humidified along with my other instruments.
Going price seems to be about $699 new with free shipping. I'll include free shipping/insurance to the lower 48. It will be very well packed.
It comes with the truss rod adjusting hex wrench, head tension key, an Intellitouch Tuner, Shubb Capo new strings installed, extra set of strings and both tailpieces shown in pics....perhaps $60-70 worth of extras.
