This is not a complete Sullivan Festival Pro but a “parts” banjo consisting of the Sullivan neck and the complete pot assembly from an Allen (made in Texas) banjo. The neck is incredibly nice with the typical Sullivan profile and well executed inlays and fret work. I did use a shim between the neck heel and the rim. The pot came from an Allen Abilene banjo that I loved but had a back-bowed and lightly twisted neck. The pot is high quality featuring a three ply steam bent rim (I was told it’s a Cooperman) and a JLS tone ring. The banjo is pictured with two different resonators: the style 4 and the Allen (leaf inlays). You will get both resonators. Each has various nicks, scuffs, dings, etc. Personally, I think the style 4 sounds better but the Allen resonator looks better.
